Job Description Job Description Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience required. A healthcare facility in Dallas, TX is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specialized in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (RN-PACU) to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced surgical environment. This contract opportunity offers a unique chance to contribute to patient recovery and safety following surgery, with emphasis on expertise in Meditech, day surgery, preoperative, or post-anesthesia care experience. Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM Key Responsibilities: Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia to ensure safety and comfort Utilize Meditech software for accurate documentation and communication Collaborate with surgical and nursing teams to deliver seamless patient care Manage post-operative complications promptly and effectively Provide patient and family education regarding post-anesthesia care and recovery Qualifications and Desired Experience: Current RN license with PACU specialization or relevant experience Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records system Experience in day surgery, preoperative, or post-anesthesia care units Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Location Highlights:Dallas, TX offers a vibrant urban lifestyle with rich cultural, dining, and entertainment options.
