Job Description Cook Children’s Health Care System is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a job in North Richland Hills, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist - Discipline: Therapy - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: Ongoing - 16 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours - Employment Type: Staff Location: Northeast Rehabilitation Center Department: Rehab-Hurst Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 16 Summary: The speech language pathologist will deliver competent and skilled care to patients and families according to their identified needs. The speech language pathologist will deliver care with a team-orientation, an emphasis on good customer relations, sound clinical judgment and appropriate decision-making abilities that take into consideration evidenced based practice. The speech language pathologist assesses and implements direct service for outpatients in rehabilitation services for the following: hearing impairments; cognitive impairments, congenital disorders; developmental disorders/delay; neurological impairments; voice disorders; language disorders/delay; articulation deficits; respiratory impairments; and fluency disorders. Qualifications - Master’s degree in Speech/language pathology. - Pediatric experience preferred. - BLS certification within 30 days of employment required. - State license or eligible for state licensure. - Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech/Language Pathology.
