TeamHealth is seeking a pediatric emergency medicine (PEM)
physician to join our outstanding team at Children's Medical Center
Plano, a premier Level IV Trauma Center in Plano, Texas. This is a
high-volume, high-acuity pediatric emergency department where
physicians are supported by state-of-the-art technology, a strong
specialty network, and a fully staffed team of PEM-certified
physicians. Opportunity Highlights - Independent contractor (1099)
position - Competitive compensation - Base rate plus RVU - 90 hours
of physician coverage daily (recently increased from 80 hours) -
10-hour shifts - Daily census: 180-200 patients per day - Patient
volume: 1.8-2 patients per hour - Scribes available - 8% admission
rate - EMR: EPIC - 24-hour in-house radiology reads for efficient
diagnostics - Bedside ultrasound and helipad services available Why
