We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Hospitalist for a locum tenens

Meditech Practice Setting: Inpatient Key Responsibilities:
Inpatient Care: Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients in
an inpatient setting. Manage and oversee pediatric patients in a
3-bed pediatric unit and a 14-bed nursery. Call Coverage: 24-hour
call shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m., ensuring continuous care for
pediatric patients. Be available for admissions and other inpatient
needs during on-call hours. Participate in both patient rounding
and emergency care as needed. Practice Details: Certification and
Licensure: Board Certification: Required for the Pediatric
Hospitalist role. Licensure: Must be licensed in Texas or eligible
for licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
(IMLC). Certifications: BLS and PALS certifications are required;
ABLS, ACLS, and ATLS are not necessary. Credentialing Timeframe:
Estimated at 30 days. Facility Support: The hospital is
experiencing a shortage of pediatricians and currently has only two
part-time physicians. This creates a significant need for reliable
