As part of a larger healthcare system with ongoing investment in emergency services, this location offers: Level IV Trauma Center 25-bed emergency department A busy and well-established ED with 37,500 annual visits 2 to 2.5 patients per hour 20% admission rate Strong team culture with 38 hours of physician coverage daily and 12 hours of APC coverage Located just 1-hour northeast of Dallas Supportive administrative partnership focused on high-quality patient outcomes Position Details Start date: flexible/immediate Shifts: 9- and 10-hour physician shifts with consistent daily coverage EMR: Cerner Scribes available Independent Contractor (1099) status Flat base rate RVU; very lucrative compensation Qualifications Board certified or board eligible in EM preferred Minimum of 3 years of emergency medicine experience required for family medicine (FM) and internal medicine (IM) candidates Strong communication and teamwork skills Comfortable working independently in a busy, community-based hospital setting If this sounds like the position for you, please apply today to discuss further!
