registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience

be considered. This opportunity is for a registered nurse
specializing in trauma stepdown care, offering a contract role
based in Denton, TX. The position involves caring for a diverse
patient population within a 25-bed surgical trauma unit on the 5th
floor of a modern medical facility. This Level 2 trauma center
supports patients requiring a range of surgical and neurological
interventions, providing a dynamic and stimulating clinical
environment. Key responsibilities include managing patients
post-operatively from trauma, bariatric, vascular, orthopedic,
neuro/spine, and general surgeries, as well as patients with
complex cardiac and respiratory conditions. The ideal candidate
will demonstrate proficiency in acute patient assessment, telemetry
monitoring, and administration of various IV drips such as Heparin,
Amiodarone, and Dobutamine among others. Adherence to unit protocol
for vitals and patient assessments every four hours is essential.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active RN license with
experience in Stepdown or Progressive Care settings ACLS, BLS, and
NIH certifications required Familiarity with Meditech EMR preferred
Trauma and orthopedic experience highly valued Excellent
communication and teamwork abilities Adaptable to a fast-paced,
evolving clinical environment Schedule/Hours: Day Shift: 7:00 AM to
