registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. A healthcare facility in Arlington, TX is currently
seeking a skilled RN with PACU experience to support their
perioperative care team on a contract basis. This opportunity is
well-suited for registered nurses familiar with Meditech electronic
health records and with experience in day surgery, preoperative, or
post-anesthesia care. Adaptability and clinical expertise will help
bridge the gap for seamless patient care in this fast-paced
environment. Schedule: - Four 10-hour shifts per week - 5:30 AM to
4:00 PM Key Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive nursing care
in the post-anesthesia care unit, ensuring patient safety and
comfort - Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to
optimize patient outcomes - Utilize Meditech EHR proficiently for
accurate documentation and communication - Monitor patients vital
signs and recovery status, responding promptly to changes - Assist
with preoperative and day surgery procedures as needed
Qualifications and Desired Experience: - Current and valid RN
license - Proficient in Meditech electronic health records system -
Experience in PACU, day surgery, preoperative or post-anesthesia
care - Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in a surgical
setting - Ability to work a consistent 4x10 shift schedule during
