Opportunity – Pediatric Rapid Response RN – Texas Start Date:
January 12, 2026 Location: Dallas, Texas Compensation: Details
provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 48 hours per week
guaranteed, rotating weekends, 6-week assignment Highlights: Rapid
response position in a 27-bed pediatric critical care unit
utilizing an acuity adaptive staffing model Care for both ICU and
step-down level patients with patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3
based on acuity Utilize Meditech EMR and advanced pediatric
equipment including ECMO, CRRT, and ventilator management Exposure
to complex pediatric cardiac cases including congenital heart
disease and post-operative cardiac management Float opportunities
to PICU, NICU, pediatric med-surg, and pediatric oncology units 48
hours per week guaranteed for the duration of this 6-week contract
Requirements: Active Texas RN license or multistate compact license
Current PALS and BLS certifications required Minimum 1 year of
Pediatric CICU/CVICU experience as a staff nurse OR minimum 2 years
of PICU experience 3-4 prior contracts in a dedicated pediatric
CICU strongly preferred Experience managing congenital heart
disease patients and post-operative CHD management Proficiency with
arterial lines, central lines, and transthoracic lines Demonstrated
experience with procedures such as central and arterial line
placement, intubation/extubation, ECMO cannulation, CRRT, and
manual peritoneal dialysis Experience with neonatal cardiac
patients and pediatric cardiac step-down care preferred Why It's a
