Job Description:
At GEICO, a leader in the auto insurance industry, we are
seeking a meticulous and skilled Casualty Claims Examiner to join
our dedicated claims team. This role focuses on adjusting property
and casualty claims, analyzing complex cases, and providing
exceptional service to our policyholders while ensuring accurate
and timely resolutions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a
dynamic environment, demonstrate in-depth knowledge of liability
and casualty policies, and commit to upholding GEICO's standards of
innovation and customer satisfaction. Investigate and process
property and casualty insurance claims. Analyze claim details and
coverage, determine liability, and negotiate settlements.
Coordinate with legal counsel on complex claims and potential
litigation. Document claims handling process in line with policies
and regulatory requirements. Communicate effectively with
policyholders, claimants, and other stakeholders. Maintain a high
level of service and confidentiality while managing sensitive
information. Strong analytical and decision-making skills
Proficient in claims management software Excellent communication
and negotiation skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a
fast-paced environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Claims Professional (CCP)
Senior Claims Law Associate (SCLA) certification preferred
